Day 1. Ushuaia
Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world, on the shores of the Beagle Channel and surrounded by the Martial Mounts. It is the capital of the Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and Southern Atlantic Islands Province.
Day 2. Tierra del Fuego
Excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. A subantartic forest covers the region up to 600m above sea level. Trip to the "black" lake. A one way trip on the 'End of the World' train travelling through the National Park itself. Return to your hotel.
Day 3. Ushuaia – Escondido and Fagnano Lakes
Full day excursion to both the Escondido and Fagnano Lakes, enjoying the astonishing landscape of the Fuegian Andes. A visit to the ‘sawmills’ region before a delicious ‘asado’ lunch. Return to your hotel.
Day 4. Ushuaia
A half day boat navigation through the Beagle Channel. Return to your hotel.
Day 5. Ushuaia - El Calafate
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to El Calafate. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. El Calafate is the site of the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most dramatic natural sites left on earth.
Day 6. Perito Moreno Glacier
Full day excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier, the largest advancing glacier in the world. Walk along footpaths and balconies to reach this incredible phenomenon. The tour will also include a one and a half hour trek over the glacier’s surface (October to April).
Day 7. Upsala Glacier
Full day excursion including a boat trip to discover the Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini Glaciers.
Day 8. El Calafate
Transfer to the airport.
