Pissis is the second highest volcano in the world located at 6882m and is located at the southern edge of the Puna high desert plateau, surrounded by other volcanoes, which fill the horizon with elegant lines. There are also abundant vestiges of ancient civilizations that thrived here centuries ago. This 15 day expedition is suited for experienced high altitude mountaineers in good physical condition. This expedition evolves a very remote setting with no external support. Climbers must carry their own loads in addition to their share of group gear in a pure expedition style. Ascents possible from October through to March.
