It is situated on the Rio de la Plata, and as its name suggests, it is the city of good winds. The tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo, the hub of the city centre and where many public buildings such as the Catedral Metropolitana can be found. At the east end, you will find the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses. A visit will also be lade to the Teatro Colon, found at the intersection of Cirrito and Tucuman the world-class opera house that opened in 1908 with a presentation of Aida. It seats 2500 spectators and offers standing room for another 1000. There is also a museum featuring instruments, costumes and photographs of performers.
You shall also visit La Boca, Buenos Aires' most colourful neighbourhood. San Telmo, just a few blocks south of Plaza de Mayo is the artist's quarter, what some believe to be Buenos Aires' most interesting feature.
A final visit to Recoleta, a very fashionable area where you can visit the fine arts museum, called Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, and the city's gardens of Plaza Alvear and Plaza Francia. The latter hosts the largest crafts fair in the city every Sunday. Lunch at the La Bourgogne, the only Relais Gourmand in Argentina. The restaurant serves the finest French and international food in the city and according to Travel & Leisure magazine rated La Bourgogne the number one restaurant in South America, and Wine Spectator gave it the distinction of being one of the "Best Restaurants in the World for Wine Lovers." Return to your hotel.
In the evening, dinner & tango Show in La Esquina Carlos Gardel, the foremost tango house in Buenos Aires.

Day 3. BUENOS AIRES - BARILOCHE

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bariloche. Transfer to your hotel, the 5* Llao Llao Hotel & Resort, a member of the "Leading Hotels of the world group".
Located on a secluded hill between lakes Nahuel Huapi and Moreno, the resort offers all amenties including an 18 hole golf course, fishing and hunting facilities.
Catedral Bariloche ski resort is positioned high above Lake Nahuel Huapi and 19km (12m) from the holiday resort town of San Carlos de Bariloche. The ski resort of Bariloche offers excellent skiing and snowboarding particularly suitable for those who prefer to ski at a more leisurely pace than the resorts such as Las Lenas.
The Base is located at 1050m and its tracks reach 2,000 metres in height, with options for all modalities of ski, snowboard and off-track ski. Cerro Catedral has 27 ski lifts, with a capacity of carrying 13400 passengers per hour. Some of them are the track rope, sextuple super-bubble, quadruple chairlift and double chairlifts. There is an electronic system of passes, which is a "hands free" ticket that works according to radiofrequency. This allows skiers not to show their pass every time they want to use the lifts. It is not even necessary to have it at sight and can be kept inside a pocket or a bag allowing for a quicker and more comfortable access.
The resort has a modern and integral system of snow making brought from the USA (the largest in South America). As snow is made from the waters of a stream (La Cascada) this runs from the top of the mountain, and feeds from the snow, a type of "recycled snow" or "man-made snow". This system, and its 46 big sprinklers (Bonanza and Snow Diamond), allows snow to be made of a higher quality and much more resistant at the foot of the mountain. Cerro Catedral has 47 tracks that cover 70 kilometres and that are the scene of international tournaments included in the schedule of the International Ski Federation (ISF). In addition, there are 140 hectares devoted to snowboard and 15 tracks for Alpine skiing and snowboard. There are some that have a lower level of difficulty, for beginners and intermediates, and some that are much more difficult for advanced and expert skiers.

Day 4 - Day 9

Ski week at the Cerro Catedral resort complete with full ski lift pass but not including ski equipment rental.

Day 10. BARILOCHE - BUENOS AIRES
