Day 2. Buenos Aires (B)

After breakfast, a private city tour of perhaps the most cosmopolitan metropolis in South America. Most of the population is of European descent and the city is reminiscent of Paris. It is situated on the Rio de la Plata, and as its name suggests, it is the city of good winds. The tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo, the hub of the city centre and where many public buildings such as the Catedral Metropolitana can be found. At the east end, you will find the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses. A visit will also be made to the Teatro Colon, found at the intersection of Cirrito and Tucuman the world-class opera house that opened in 1908 with a presentation of Aida. It seats 2500 spectators and offers standing room for another 1000. You shall also visit La Boca, Buenos Aires' most colourful neighbourhood.
A final visit to Recoleta, a very fashionable area where you can visit the fine arts museum, called Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, and the city's gardens of Plaza Alvear and Plaza Francia. The latter hosts the largest crafts fair in the city every Sunday.

Day 3. Buenos Aires (B & L)

After breakfast, a full day Fiesta Gaucha Excursion, visiting a typical "estancia" in the pampas, Santa Susana. This is a visit to a typical "estancia" or Ranch, in the one of the most fertile and natural prairies of the world, the Argentine. It is most famous for its meat and cereal production. Return to your hotel.

Day 4. Buenos Aires - Colonia - Buenos Aires (B)

A half day excursion of the Argentinean side of Iguazu allows for a close appreciation. Set in a subtropical rain forest reserve of over 180,000 hectares, Iguazu is home to jaguar, puma, caiman and over 400 species of bird. The most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara Falls, the falls lie on the three borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Overnight accommodation.

Day 10. Encarnacion (B)

After breakfast, visit to both upper and lower Encarnacion, followed by a visit to the Jesuits Fathers Indian Reductions of Trinidad (17th. Century). Perhaps the biggest attraction of Encarnacion are the Jesuit ruins of Trinidad and Jesus, which are the best preserved in the country.
Designed by the Italian Juan Bautista Primoli, the ruins were barely finished by the time of the Jesuit expulsion from the country in 1767.Rarely does one find a UNESCO World Heritage Site with so few visitors, but that's only part of the attraction of these impressive Jesuit Missions. A walk around the atmospheric red-brick hilltop ruins allows you to absorb a sense of what once made these 17th and 18th century colonies so powerful that the Spanish crown had them abolished.
